Essendon captain Jobe Watson joined the 3AW commentary box before the game.
Watson opened up about the WADA appeal, his future as the Bombers’ captain, and more.
Watson said the trials of the supplement saga have allowed the players to hear the actual evidence being levelled against them.
‘It’s based on evidence, not on hearsay or what someone would like you to believe happened,’ Watson said.
Watson said he has the passion to remain Essendon’s skipper if he feels he is up to the task.
‘I won’t be captain if I don’t think I can do it to the level required,’ Watson said.
