RUMOUR CONFIRMED

There’s been an outpouring of support for a coffee caravan in Frankston which has had its permit renewal application knocked back without any consultation.

Little Olly’s, which has traded at the Olivers Hill Boat Ramp since 2019, reapplied for a permit to operate at the boat ramp, and received a generic rejection email.

The business understands another local established business has been given the permit instead.

Co-owner and manager of Little Olly’s, Carl Ashdown, says the lack of communication was “disappointing”.

“There was no consultation,” he told 3AW Breakfast.

“We don’t even know who they’ve given it to.”

A petition started by a customer calling for the business to have its permit renewed has been signed by more than 8000 people.
