Dan McStay is leaving Brisbane.

The forward confirmed what had been suspected for months on Friday.

He’s exploring his rights as an unrestricted free agent.

McStay, who was selected with pick 25 in the 2013 national draft, has played 161 games and kicked 138 goals since making his debut in round 15, 2014.

Collingwood is considered the hot favourite to secure the 26-year-old’s services.
