AFL Grand Final Parade: Everything you need to know
The AFL Grand Final Parade is back after a two year hiatus and it’s taking to the water for the first time!
The parade kicks off at 10.30am.
Geelong and Sydney players will parade up and down the Yarra River, then greet fans outside the MCG.
Players will board the boats from the Swan Street Bridge, and will then travel up the Yarra River to Princes Bridge before turning around and travelling back to Birrarung Marr, where players will get off the boats and be loaded into cars.
Players will be presented on stage at the Yarra Park Grand Final footy festival at 11.40am.
Alexandra Gardens, Birrarung Marr and the Yarra Park Footy Festival site are some of the best spots to catch the action.
