Australia’s COVID isolation period has been cut to five days, down from seven, after national cabinet agreed to ease restrictions and abolish the requirement to wear masks on domestic flights.

But it’s immediately raised concerns in the medical world.

“I tend to agree – it’s risky,” Professor Bruce Thompson, Head of the Melbourne School of Health Sciences at Melbourne University, said on 3AW Breakfast.
