The child actor who featured in one of Australia’s most iconic commercials will appear on our televisions again from today.

Brandon Fraser, the child who famously asked “Why did they make the Great Wall of China?” in Telstra’s 2005 Bigpond ad, commented on a Facebook post from Telstra a few months ago.

It set off a chain of events that have led to him starring in a new Telstra ad paying homage to the famous 2005 commercial.

In the new ad, Mr Fraser plays an uncle driving his very curious nephew.

The commercial advertises Telstra making Wi-Fi free at selected payphones across the country from today.
