A Tesla owner in the United States has grabbed international attention after he had the keys to his car surgically implanted in his hand.

It turns out it’s not THAT uncommon.

William Johnson told Neil Mitchell he had a microchip inserted into the webbing of his hand in 2015, which he uses to open the front door of his house and to gain entry at work.

“I’m notorious for forgetting my cars, or leaving my wallet somewhere,”
