Woman vents her frustration over concerning ambulance experience
A health worker has vented her frustration after an ambulance failed to show for a call out yesterday afternoon with no explanation given.
Nicole, who works at Hampton Park Women’s Health Clinic but does not have medical training, says a colleague needed help but paramedics never arrived.
She told Neil Mitchell the colleague “had blood pouring out her nose and mouth” and her blood pressure was extremely high.
“I called the ambulance and 50 minutes later I got a call back from Ambulance Victoria triage,” Nicole said.
The health worker says she was informed no ambulance was on the way. Thankfully her colleague’s bleeding slowed and she was able to be taken to a GP.
3AW Mornings has contacted Ambulance Victoria about the incident and is awaiting a response.
