A Brisbane court has heard how a teenager was allegedly raped by four men including two aspiring AFL footballers at an Australia Day party.

The details emerged when one of the aspiring footballers – a 19-year-old – faced the Brisbane Magistrates’ Court Friday morning.

Prosecutors told the court the victim was allegedly raped with a beer bottle while he slept at the party on January 26 this year.

He only found out about the assault when he saw a video of it on social media days later.

The accused teen was granted bail on the condition he didn’t make contact with his co-accused teammate.

The other three men will face court on Monday.
