LATEST: Several hurt in horror West Gate Bridge smash
LATEST: Four people have been injured after a shocking smash on the West Gate Bridge.
All outbound lanes have since reopened to traffic.
It’s understood a silver Ford Falcon sedan was travelling along the West Gate Freeway near Williamstown Road when it collided with a truck just after 10.30am on Tuesday.
“There’s a number of individuals lying there being attended to by the public, because the ambulance and the police just can’t get through because the roads are entirely blocked,” one witness told 3AW immediately after the smash.
