Cat trapped on tiny Docklands high-rise ledge
An attempt to rescue a cat has been perched on the ledge of a Docklands high-rise apartment building for three days is underway.
Jessica spotted the cat on narrow ledge outside her 15th floor bedroom early on Sunday morning.
She called the fire brigade, SES, the RSPCA and an emergency vet, but all were unable to help.
The cat has since moved from the 15th to 12th floor, but it’s still stuck.
“We’re just trying to figure out exactly where he is at the moment,” Jessica told Jacqui Felgate, filling in for Dee Dee.
“Everybody has sort of given me the runaround and told me to call someone else.
“Eventually I did get on to someone who is now helping me rescue him and we’re hoping we can get him down today.”
