The 100 Greatest Australian Singles of the 60s four-CD set released
One of the men who helped compile the 100 Greatest Australian Singles of the 60s admits it was far from easy.
David Pepperell joined Denis Walter in studio to explain how they came up with the final list for the four-CD set.
‘We just had a big list and tried to whittle it down,’ he said on 3AW Afternoons.
Naturally, Denis couldn’t help himself and came up with his own top five!
‘Dear Prudence’ – Doug Parkinson
‘One’ – John Farnham
‘Friday On My Mind’ – Easybeats
‘Real Thing’ – Russell Morris
‘Move Baby, Move’ – Johnny O’Keefe
