The COVID-19 pandemic wreaked havoc on our sleep.

Sleep psychologist and researcher Hailey Meaklim says numerous studies show the pandemic led to an increase in people having trouble sleeping, as well as more crazy dreams.

“Although we’re a couple of years into the pandemic … some people are still having some trouble sleeping,” she told Ross and Russel.

“When we’re having all these strange and very bizarre things happening to us during the day it’s sort of a continuity hypothesis that these things come through into our dreams and help us process and work out what’s going on.
