Australians are jetting off again!

New data from NAB today reveals overseas travel spending has eclipsed pre-pandemic levels.

In May, Australians spent more on international travel than they’ve spent in any month in the past three years.

NAB executive of everyday banking, Paul Riley, says the US, Dubai and UK are the most popular destinations.

He says NAB customer spending on travel is up 600 per cent on last year.

“Overseas travel spending is already back to pre-pandemic levels,” Mr Riley told 3AW Breakfast.

“I think everyone has got the travel bug at the moment.”
