Dog found riding Frankston train alone
A dog was found riding the Frankston line train alone yesterday morning.
The pooch was spotted at 7.30am.
One commuter said they tried to approach the dog but it snapped at them.
Another passenger made a makeshift lead with a scarf and took the dog off the platform 10 at Flinders Street Station.
Chris Miller from the Department of Transport says the dog is believed to be about 14-years-old, and may be a terrier/border collie mix.
The dog’s owner hasn’t yet been found. The pooch has been taken to the Lost Dogs’ Home in North Melbourne.
