You’ve probably noticed dozens of different toothpastes when grabbing a tube at the supermarket.
But are they ACTUALLY any different to each other?
Emeritus Professor Laurence Walsh, spokesperson for the Australian Dental Association, told Tom Elliott there were definite differences.
Basically, the more expensive it is, the more technology that’s been involved in its production.
Professor Walsh also explained why you’re not fooling your dentist if you brush your teeth madly the morning of a dental appointment!
“If you want to fool the dentist, you need to brush well for three days before the appointment, not just the morning of,” he said with tongue firmly in cheek.
