First Victorian monkeypox case detected

The first cases of monkeypox have been identified in Australia.
A case at The Alfred Hospital has been confirmed.
A man aged in his 30s, who had recently visited the UK, is isolating at the hospital with mild symptoms.
Monkeypox is a rare viral infection similar to smallpox, which mostly occurs in west and central Africa.
Symptoms include fever, headaches and skin rashes starting on the face and spreading to the rest of the body.
