Neil Mitchell says Sunday night’s debate between Scott Morrison and Anthony Albanese lacked respect.

“Respect for voters, respect for the democratic process, respect for the female moderator trying to keep them to their promises,” the 3AW Mornings host said on Monday.

He said it showed Australia’s leaders still “don’t get it” as they resorted to “schoolyard” sniping.

“I reckon if you’re an undecided voter and watched this, you’d damn near vote informal,” he said.
