Brodie Grundy shares thoughts on proposed changes to ruck rules after his knee injury
Collingwood ruckman Brodie Grundy says he doesn’t want an overreaction to the recent spate of knee-on-knee injuries at centre bounces.
Grundy will be sidelined for at least the next two months after he suffered a PCL injury against Essendon on Monday, just days after Carlton’s Marc Pittonet was dealt a similar fate from a similar incident.
Speaking on 3AW, Grundy said he’d support changes to protect players, but it needed to be considered.
“If there is a way we can protect the players, then I’d be for it, but there are nuances in the position,” he told 3AW Football.
