Western Bulldogs midfielder Lachie Hunter is dealing with personal issues and has taken indefinite leave.

The club revealed the news on Tuesday.

It’s the second time Hunter has taken a break from footy, doing so in 2020 for similar reasons.

The Bulldogs said they would support Hunter as he “works through some individual challenges, which have affected his health and wellbeing”.

The club called on Hunter’s privacy to be respected during that time.
