‘Nothing has changed’: Three ex-players slam Collingwood’s response to past racism
In a damning tweet, Héritier Lumumba says he and two other former Collingwood players are “officially terminating all communications” with the Collingwood Football Club.
Lumumba said he, Leon Davis and Andrew Krakouer, have formally notified Collingwood they’ll cease communications after 15 months of discussions on addressing past incidents of racism at the club.
“It is our firm belief that the Collingwood Football Club has no intention of acting in good faith to achieve a just outcome for past players who have experienced racism at the Club,” he wrote.
