The homicide squad is investigating the death of a man in Scoresby overnight.

Concerns were first raised for the welfare of two people inside a home on Nardu Court at 11.30pm.

Police attended and found the body of a man inside the home.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined.

Homicide detectives remain on the scene.
