Flooding spells bad news for river life

Marine life in the Richmond River in New South Wales is being wiped out, due to the recent floods.
Scientists say rotting vegetation on inundated flood-plains is starving the water of oxygen.
Rural reporter Rhiannon Soliman-Marron caught up with Southern Cross University Professor Damien Maher, to chat more about what he’s found while monitoring the river.
