Cam rang Neil Mitchell late on Friday morning with a plea for help.

His 4WD had been stolen in Mornington during a ram-raid.

But within minutes of appearing on 3AW, it had been found by 3AW listener Callum in a ditch almost 70 kilometres from where it was nicked.

So why did the thieves ditch it so suddenly?

Turns out they were listening to 3AW!

‘When I turned on the car it still had 3AW playing,’ Cam told Neil today.
