Matthew Lloyd says he’s loving the early transformation of Hawthorn under new coach Sam Mitchell.

The Hawks have hit the ground running, winning their first two games.

They caused a major upset on Saturday, thrashing Port Adelaide by 64 points at the Adelaide Oval.

“They were the highlight, for me,” Lloyd said on 3AW, reflecting on the weekend’s results.

“They’ve been the most boring side in the competition.

“I’ve found them unwatchable in recent years.”
