Scott Morrison is Australia’s least trusted politician, according to a new poll.

And three of the key players hoping to oust him as Prime Minister – Penny Wong, Anthony Albanese and Tanya Plibersek – ranked 1, 2 and 3 in the most trustworthy column.

Peter Dutton and Barnaby Joyce rounded out the top three in the least trusted poll.

Tom Elliott found it interesting that all of the top 10 members of the “least trusted” were on the conservative side of politics, while Left-of-centre politicians dominated the trusted section.

Roy Morgan conducted the poll, with their CEO, Michele Levine, spoke with Tom Elliott about its findings on Wednesday.
