Why Pat Rafter wasn’t shocked by Ash Barty’s retirement

Australian tennis great Pat Rafter says he wasn’t shocked by Ash Barty’s decision to retire at 25.
He spoke with 3AW on Wednesday following the news.
Rafter said the motivation behind her decision was simple.
“She doesn’t want to play tennis any more,” he said.
“She wants to have a life.”
