A woman has been charged with murder following the stabbing death of a man at Thomastown.

The woman, 27, was arrested after a 67-year-old man was found in a critical condition in an an apartment on Main Street on Saturday night.

He died in hospital.

The woman will appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court today.

Another man, 45, was also taken into custody but has since been released pending further enquiries.
