Man wanted over sexual assault of teenager at train station
Police have released images of a man they want to speak with about the sexual assault of a teenager at North Melbourne train station.
The 15-year-old girl was approached by an unknown man whilst waiting for a train on Friday, February 4, about 1.45pm.
Police have been told the man started a conversation with the victim before he grabbed her hand and forcefully pulled her into a hug.
He then pulled her face mask down and kissed her face.
The victim then ran down the platform and got onto the train, but the man followed her onto the same carriage.
He again approached the teenager but other commuters intervened and confronted the man, who then got off the train at Footscray.
