Another motorcyclist has tragically died on Victoria’s roads.

The rider was travelling on Eltham-Yarra Glen Road in Christmas Hills when he veered onto the wrong side of the road and hit a car at about 2.30pm on Sunday.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.

The driver of the car received minor injuries and stopped to assist.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.

There have been seven deaths on Victoria’s roads since last Monday.

There’s been a total of 38 road deaths in the state this year, compared to 25 at the same time last year.
