Alarming reports parents are buying vapes for kids under mistaken belief they’re ‘safe’
There are concerns some parents are buying children as young as 10 vaping devices under the mistaken belief they’re safe.
The news has alarmed the Director of Quit Victoria.
She said not only was it dangerous, it was also illegal.
Dr Sarah White said early exposure to nicotine could lead to an increased risk of addiction, which could ultimately lead to memory and irritable behaviour.
“They are permanent brain changes,” she said.
