Five children have been taken to hospital after a 4WD rolled onto its roof following a nasty accident at Hampton Park.

3AW Drive received a Word On The Street call about the accident on Pound Rd on Tuesday afternoon.

Ambulance Victoria confirmed it had attended the scene.

Two adults were assessed and are OK, however five kids involved in the accident were taken to Dandenong Hospital.

All five are in a stable condition.
