A former detective has described how she was sexually abused and had her nose broken by a colleague.
Sue called Neil Mitchell in light of today’s damning report showing her experience was not isolated.
Now retired after 14 years in the police force, she said she feared her career would be ruined if she spoke up.
‘I knew the word would get around (and) I wouldn’t have a chance of becoming a detective,’ she said.
