School resumes from today, with more than a million Victorian students heading back to the classrooms.

Parade College Principal Andy Kuppe says “there’s a fair bit of excitement, just tinged with a bit of trepidation this morning”.

The school is yet to receive its full allocation of rapid antigen tests from the state government.

Students in grade three and above must wear masks while indoors at school. Teacher must wear masks at all times when not actively teaching or talking to students.

Mr Kuppe says many schools, including Parade College, are moving classes outside where possible, where students don’t need to wear masks.
