Helicopter brought in to search for one of Australia’s most expensive bulls
A helicopter has been called in to help search for one of the most expensive bulls in the country.
The $108,000 bull, named Texas Powerplay, went missing from a paddock near Yea last week.
Weekly Times reporter Fiona Myers, says it’s not clear if the bull was snatched, or just went roaming.
“It’s not impossible that he’s gone walkabout but they just don’t know,” she told Stephen Quartermain and Emily Power, filling in for Ross and Russel.
“Clearly if you use a bull like this, which is worth a six figure amount, you want to be bragging that you’ve used this bull within your herd to improve your productivity and you can’t do that if you’ve stolen him.
“The logistics of trying to steal a 1000 kilogram bull are pretty interesting.”
