The Victorian Transport Association has welcomed the Federal Government’s truck-driving apprenticeship program.

Peter Anderson told 3AW Drive it would hopefully address the growing concerns about future shortages in drivers.

“We want to see more young people attracted to our industry and, to do that, we have to create pathways for them,” he said.
