Two-in-five workers want more say on how much time they spend in the office and when, according to a new study.

The report found many workers valued flexibility even above higher pay in a post-pandemic world.

One of those responsible for the report, Bastion Reputation CEO Clare Gleghorn, said many workers would not want to ever return to five days a week in the office.

She said “team” activities, such as collaboration and brainstorming, were likely to take place in person.

But the carrying out of those tasks would be done from home, by many.

“I think that’s going to become the norm,” she said.
