EastLink to resolve ‘clear error’ that saw frustrated driver constantly tolled twice
Tom Elliott has been contacted by a frustrated man who says he’s constantly copping toll bills for towing a registered bobcat on a trailer on EastLink.
Neil Bakkar told Tom Elliott he was being charged twice, once for his truck and once for the bobcat being towed.
“They send me a toll invoice with registration blah blah blah and then they’ve sent other invoices, text messages, saying if you don’t pay within 24 hours you’ll be issued with a $182 fine/fines,” he said.

Doug Spencer-Roy, Corporate Affairs & Marketing Manager at EastLink, said the issue would be resolved.
“In this case, a clear error has been made,” he said.
