Victoria’s COVID-19 quarantine rules have been overhauled.

It comes with news Victoria is set to hit a 90 per cent fully vaccinated rate at some point this weekend.

Positive COVID-19 cases will now be required to isolate for 10 days, not 14, if they are fully vaccinated.

Unvaccinated Victorians will still be required to isolate for 14 days.

Exposure sites will no longer be published online, with Victorians who have attended high risk settings to get an alert on their phone via the Service Victoria app.

People who test positive are being urged to let their family, friends and close contacts know as soon as possible, so they can get tested and limit COVID-19 spread.

Close contacts (outside of the home) will no longer be required to quarantine, provided they get a PCR test and it is negative.
