A staggering 93 per cent of Australians aren’t eating enough vegetables.

Dietary guidelines recommend five serves of vegetables per day, but only seven per cent of us meet that recommendation.

Dietitian Karen Inge says it’s “really quite disappointing”.

“I think some people just can’t think of ways of eating vegetables.”

For National Nutrition Week this week, Nutrition Australia is running its ‘Try for 5’ campaign to encourage and inspire Australians to eat more vegetables.
