Fully vaccinated Victorians stuck in ‘extreme risk’ COVID-19 zones able to return home
Victorians stuck in Sydney and other “extreme” COVID-19 risk zones in Australia will be able to return home from September 30, provided they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The Premier made the announcement on Thursday.
He said it was likely to impact “several thousand” Victorian residents still in NSW.
Those returning to Victoria will be required to provide a negative test within 72 hours of returning.
They’ll also still be required to do 14 days of quarantine once home.
