A plea to shop local, as covid cancels ag events
Farmers and regional communities are bearing the brunt of Queensland’s lockdown.
Major events such as the Ekka and the Moreton Bay Food and Wine festival have been cancelled, leaving producers out of pocket.
The Queensland Farmers Federation says whilst disappointing, it is the perfect opportunity to encourage more people to shop local.
