A pregnant Victorian woman has been diagnosed with Zika virus.

The woman recently returned from overseas.

She will be monitored during pregnancy to see if there has been any impact on the unborn child.

Victoria’s acting chief health officer said there was an extremely low risk of transmission in Victoria because of the type of mosquitos here.
