Tim Wilson tells Neil Mitchell why he’s running for politics
Outgoing Human Rights Commissioner Tim Wilson hasn’t ruled out making a play to be Prime Minister in future.
Mr Wilson joined Neil Mitchell in studio on Monday to explain why he was quitting his $400,000 a year job to run for pre-selection for the Liberal Party in the seat of Goldstein following the resignation of Andrew Robb.
The 3AW Mornings host asked Mr Wilson if he’d like to be Prime Minister.
‘I’m not somebody who ever rules things in, or out,’ he said.
‘I make no secret that I’m an ambitious man.
‘And I’m ambitious – not just for myself – I’m ambitious for my community, my state and my country.’
