Lord Mayor says ‘dumb’ gangs will be identified by CCTV cameras
The Lord Mayor says there’s still a lot to do to deal with violent gangs in the wake of the Moomba riots in the CBD.
Robert Doyle has told Neil Mitchell police are using CCTV to combat the issue.

‘The CCTV cameras are precise and accurate, and recognise faces from a long way away.’
The Lord Mayor also said he would ensure there isn’t a repeat of the transport fiasco at Station Pier when a major cruise liner arrives tomorrow.
Elderly passengers collapsed and were hospitalised after they were forced to wait more than two hours for taxis last month.
