Tom Elliott’s excursion to music therapy at the Royal Children’s Hospital
This week I visited the cardiac ward at the Royal Children’s Hospital, to sit-in on a music therapy class.
The hospital runs all sorts of programs to help their patients to all the things that kids do, and I’m told sessions like music therapy have an enormous impact.
Most of the little kids in this video are suffering from major heart conditions, a couple are awaiting transplants, surviving with the assistance of artificial hearts.
These kids and these programs are the reason we should all give generously to the Good Friday Appeal – www.goodfridayappeal.com.au or 1300 277 325.
