Lunch at A Little Farm On A Hill
We’ve revelled in traditional Malaysian cuisine (except durian).
We’ve eaten off banana leaves in Little India.
And we sent our tastebuds into a frenzy in Chinatown.
So on our last day in Malaysia we went rural and – on the recommendation of locals, including dashing chopper pilot Dato James Greaves – visited a little farm on a hill.
It’s name: A Little Farm On Hill.
We were hosted by architect (and cook) Lisa and film-maker Peter and, as you can see from the photos, the food was as spectacular as the jungle surrounds!
Ross and John with hosts Peter and Lisa.
A feast for 3AW!
Foodies Ela Carte and John Burns can barely contain their excitement.
The lamb.
The tomato side.
Lisa hard at work in the kitchen.
Ross and Burnso chatting with host Peter.
Burnso eyeing off a bottle of wine – surprise, surprise!
The only way to drink red wine in the hot, humid Malaysian weather is chilled.
Most flowers and food were grown on Peter and Lisa’s property.
Dessert: Orange and chocolate cake.
Looking over the jungle from the spectacular deck.
