There are lots of things people do on public transport that – inadvertently or otherwise – put off their fellow commuters.

3AW Drive producer Alyssa Allen spoke to commuters outside Southern Cross station to find out what the worst offences are.

And 3AW listeners joined phoned in some nominations their own.

Some behaviour that featured prominently includes:

• Loud phone calls
   
• Sneezing and sniffling
   
• Schoolchildren refusing to give up seats
   
• Swearing
   
• Fingernail clipping (yes, it happens!)
