Melbourne on track for ‘worst’ month of shootings in two years after Sunshine West incident
Melbourne is heading towards its worst month of shootings in two years following another disturbing incident overnight.
Police say shots were fired from a black Audi into a Mazda Sedan at Sunshine West around 8.30pm Wednesday.
There haven’t been any reports of injuries.
It’s the eighth shooting incident police have been called to in the past six days.
An analysis by The Age reveals Melbourne is on track to exceed the spike seen in October last year ? when there were 12 shootings ? the highest monthly total since 2014.
