A 12-year-old girl has been freed by fire crews after she got her arm stuck in a vending machine.

3AW Afternoons was told about the incident at Doncaster Secondary College on Thursday afternoon.

Paramedics were also called.

The girl has been taken to Box Hill Hospital for assessment.
